ELA was born from a personal search for peace, warmth, and a single woven basket.
When our founder Seba moved to the UAE, she struggled to find natural, handmade home decor that was both beautiful and accessible. The market was full of either overpriced luxury items or mass-produced plastic. After finally convincing a vendor at Global Village to sell her a 40 AED basket he was using for storage, she realised something important: a warm, mindful, natural home shouldn't be a luxury.
Named after a word connected to leaf and earth, ELA is built on the belief that beautiful homes don't need more things, they need the right things.
We curate small-batch, handmade pieces crafted from natural materials like rattan, water hyacinth, and seagrass. We don't believe in sterile, catalog-perfect spaces. We believe in real, lived-in homes filled with textures that ground you and pieces that tell a story.
